Apple Hilariously Called the Gold iPhone 5S ‘The Kardashian Phone’

As Apple was prepping the perfectly glitzy hue of the goldpagne iPhone 5S, the phone was being referred to as "the Kardashian phone" inside Apple according to NY Times reporter Nick Bilton . Yes, that would be the same Kardashian as notorious iPhone auteur Kim and her well manicured yet totally overexposed family. Which means yes, Apple was completely aware of how ridiculous the goldpagne iPhone was going to be.


Apple Speaks Out About Foxconn Suicides

Foxconn has gone into serious damage control this week , with CEO Guo Tai-ming inviting 100 members of the press to view the facilities today. Even Apple and Dell, two companies whose products are produced in Foxconn's factories, have spoken out. Apple released a statement saying that they are "saddened and upset by the recent suicides at Foxconn," confirming that they are "in direct contact with Foxconn senior management and we believe they are taking this matter very seriously." While most of the media fixates on the relationship between Foxconn and Apple, for want of a sexier story, Dell meanwhile has also spoken about the suicides, saying that: "We expect our suppliers to employ the same high standards we do in our own facilities


VICTORY! Apple Has Fixed the Number 1 in iOS 7’s Calendar

Rejoice, humans of the Earth, for the ugly off-center 1 in Apple iOS 7's Calendar app icon has been at last, FIXED! It took almost two entire years of design rants after every update, but someone in Cupertino has at last listened and corrected what was a horrible design decision made by someone else who is no longer in Cupertino. iOS 7 beta 4 has a perfectly centered 1. Before, Apple centered the first day of the calendar using its bounding box.
